Renault DeZir (2010)


DeZir was the first Renault project to be led by Laurens van den Acker and exemplifies the brand's new philosophy with regard to design. It also marks the implementation of the strategy based on the notion of "life cycle". The first step involves falling in love, an experience that is perfectly illustrated by DeZir's powerful, sensuous styling and bright red finish; red being the colour associated with passion.

Renault 8 Gordini (1964-1970)


On October 1, 1964, a small, blue saloon car with two white stripes was unveiled to visitors to the Paris Motor Show. Its price (11,500F) and its performance levels (170 km/h, standing km: 33 seconds) made it a very attractive proposition. This was the Renault 8 Gordini.

Renault's first F1 victory


For its Formula 1 debut, Renault opted for a turbocharged 1500 cc V6 engine, radically different from the ubiquitous 3000 cc V8 and V12 units championed by other manufacturers of the time. Defying strong skepticism, from the Porsche engineers in particular, Renault persevered to claim 15 victories from 1979 to 1983, by which time the whole field had followed its lead on turbo technology.

Signatech Alpine Matmut doubles up: victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the LMP2 world title!


At the end of a challenging edition, the Signatech Alpine Matmut team has won the LMP2 category of the 24 Hours of Le Mans for the third time in four years.
  • With eight podium results in as many races, Nicolas Lapierre, André Negrão and Pierre Thiriet have taken the second crown for Alpine in the FIA World Endurance Championship.
  • This resounding victory concludes a week that included the presentation of the new Alpine A110S.

A Test Day full of lessons for Signatech Alpine Matmut


  • The Signatech Alpine Matmut team concluded the 24 Hours of Le Mans Test Day with the third best time in LMP2.
  • Focused on discovering the Michelin tyres on the Circuit de la Sarthe and looking for the perfect setups, Nicolas Lapierre, André Negrão and Pierre Thiriet completed 71 laps.

GCK announce 5th driver for the 2019 FIA World Rallycross Championship


FIA World Rallycross Championship team GC KOMPETITION (GCK), founded by French athlete Guerlain Chicherit, proudly announces long-term agreement with Rokas Baciuska, the 19-year old Lithuanian driver. Baciuska will join the GCK squad from WRX Norway and will drive the third GCK Renault Megane R.S. RX.
